Puleeze

So, the boy wonder of the Bush administration wants to "spend more time with his family"? Mr. Evil is exiting stage left, before the accounting is completed and with no accountability for his contribution to our current horrors in Iraq and Afghanistan. Mr. I had better things to do than serve my time in Vietnam. Yes, him. Well, bye bye, psycho. Enjoy your retirement, you nasty little man. Your history of war crimes and fascist leanings are a legacy you can never overcome. Good riddance! May this country be stronger than your influence.
Although, those of us fighting the good fight aren't sure.

May he spend his "retirement" in a suitable retirement home. I vote for Dante's Inferno, Eighth Circle; but hmmmm......which bolgia? Fifth? Sixth? Eighth? So many seem so fitting. ;-)

Well, cynic that I've become, I don't really believe he'll be retiring at all, just devising a new level of insidious and untraceable dirty tricks for the upcoming election and thereafter--from behind the scenes instead of from the limelight. The Dark Side may slip behind the curtain, but it does not just lie down and die this easily. (...just to mix a metaphor or two)

Well, shoulder on, shopgirl.... At least he lost his public throne, huzzah!

(BTW--Great photo of the evil genius! It's quintessential Mr. R!)

Fran P.--While Shopgirlove is liberally mixing up Negronis, she grants you carte blanche to mix your metaphors. And, in terms of the Borgias? Definately Lucrezia. Rove's machiavellian machinations are almost feminine in their scope and execution. (Please don't flame me, I just mean he can multitask. Oh boy. Of course I don't mean to imply that men monotask. Oh boy. Never mind.) Let's just move on, shall we?
